Best of Luck, Nicole!

Nicole, our Assistant Designer, has moved to San Francisco to start a life adventure! She got a new job at a startup in the area and we know she will impress them just as much as she did us. Her eye for  design, positive attitude and ability to solve any problem thrown her way were much appreciated on the SSS team. We miss her already, but are so thankful for the last two years where we worked, laughed, learned and of course had fun together!  Best of luck, Nicole, and we'll see you when you come back up to visit Vancouver, WA.

Seamer Skirt Wars- Debby

Help Debby win Skirt Wars!

The Sweet Spot Skirts team seamstresses each designed 2 skirts to compete for Skirt Wars. They used their creativity to design and name their skirts, becoming involved in the business process of conception to marketing and sales. Each skirt is limited edition. There are a few criteria to help decide which seamstress wins Skirt Wars:  the skirt with the most sales, the quickest skirt to sell out, and the skirt with the most votes on Facebook. About Debby:
Hi there, my name is Debby.....as a creative (so my boss calls me and my fellow seamstress "sisters") I have a love for color and texture.  I tried to make my skirts River Rock and Green Peace represent that love.  The fabric combinations are stylish but super easy to wear whether you want to go sporty or be a little dressier.  The best part is they look great on every lovely lady's body shape.

About Pam:

I grew up in the pacific northwest, married my high school sweetheart, and raised 3 wonderful kids. I am a self taught seamstress spending hours behind my machine. Two years ago I began contract work for Sweet Spots in my home. I enjoy my weekly visits to the shop and getting to know everyone. When I was asked to work at our flagship store there was no question, I was there.

About Tina:
I am so thankful to work at Sweet Spot Skirts as a Seamstress making these fabulous skirts! My mother taught me to sew when I was 8 years old and I have taught my own daughter to sew as well. I mainly sew crafts and quilts in my free time but love working in the retail business and being a part of this wonderful small business and watching it grow.
The fabric I have chosen for my skirts reflects two things that I am passionate about; Hierloom depicts my love for vintage and antiques with lace and roses for a more classy look and Plum Paisley depicts the deep, rich colors of Fall, my favorite season. I hope you enjoy my choices as much as I do!
